2022 has been my third year of fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in honour of my grandmother, Joyce. Through the generous support of the racing community, we have raised $9,000 this year. I think we can make it to $10,000 by the end of the year. Reaching this year's goal of $10,000 will bring our total donations over the past three years to $30,000. The number of people living with Alzheimer's is expected to triple by the year 2060. This is why it is so important to raise awareness, and to fundraise for research and care programs.
